राणी पद्मावती: The Real Issue

Everybody is surprised to notice the intensity and spread of opposition to the film Padmavati.
The surprise is, how this issue has created so much of heat this time. There has been many other instances when historical and religious blows has been given to the Hindus of this nation. But they have always succumbed after some agitation.
Bollywood has been on the constant companion of construction of controversies by picking names, symbols and stories of Hindu beliefs and prides. This not only makes a good lot of money but also makes them the Blue Eye Boy of the liberals and seculars (I avoid using libtards, pseudo-secularists).
The projects of Jodha-Akbar by Gowariker, Rass-Leela (golion ki Rass Leela-Ram Leela), Bajirao Mastani by Bhansali have made more money than they deserved only due to the controversies these films had created. I don't want to include PK and other films that were bit provocative and for that reason rode some more ladder of box office success.
Before we proceed to examine the historical facts of Jodha marriage to Akbar and Johar (self immolation) of Rani Padmini we need to evaluate the specific Hindu Grievances.

Nothing is more revealing for the poor state of Hindutva-watching among scholars and journalists than their silence about the Hindu Grievances which feed Hindutva activism, or their automatic dismissal of these Grievances as being fictitious. Most observers are caught in the overall bias of secularist writing on the phenomenon of Fundamentalism. Such approach, in my opinion, is bad scholarship. It is right to look into the intentions of Bhansali or any other freeman with actual data of his behaviour.
They have been refusing to look at facts because of their presumptions that, it is NOT what you see, that there is something else behind what you see. And the pertinent fact here is that Hindus as such do have a lot to complain about.

The problem and obstacle in the remaking of India, after one thousand year of religious percussions of Islamic state and Christian conspiracies, is that we have laid our Grievances at the doors of these secularist intelligentsia. "Hindu-baiting" and "Hindu-bashing" has been the tendency of secular self-hate. They themselves have been facing the grave problem of self identity as a defeated party against Islamic and Christian invasions. The elite Hindus have disowned their nationhood and their culture and adopted the ways and attitudes of the victors whom they regarded as their superiors. They saved their self respect through self-alienation. It believed what it had been taught, namely, that India was not a nation but only a name for a geographical region occupied by successive waves of invaders, that it's past was dark, it's religion degraded and superstitious, and that it's social system was a tyranny of cast and creeds.

But the polarization between Hindu nationalists and self-alienated secularist  is at its most INTENSE now.

I am sorry for the long note that I have put above. But it would have been just another rant, had I not brought the conspiracies, up here, to my readers.

Back to the topic, why are the Rajputs and the public in general so vocal this time?

The reason is simple. Rajputs and the Hindus have suffered great great humiliations every time Jodha is named with Akbar. But it was the Mann Singh, one who sold the Rajput pride, say nation's pride, to secure his royalty and his kingdom. He himself had chosen to serve the Mughal emperor.
There rests no scope to disown the sin of their's own Mann Singh. The pain and anger is tremendous. But no scape. Non to blame.

Encouraged by the commercial successes and encouraged by the poor and weak protests of Hindus, the Bollywood in connivience with left liberals have picked up the topic of Rani Padmini, this time, which is one of the most proud historical episode for Rajputs and Hindus nationalists.

The anger in the atmosphere is the outburst of all that they have suffered of. This adventure of Bollywood this time may cause some major curtailment of its freedom.

New DICTATES are now INEVITABLE.
