Recently one of my Facebook fellow , who walks in his thoughts a bit tilted left, argued that The Lord Shiva is the Prophet of God. He was kind (?) enough to accept that Lord Shiva was the first Prophet. He quoted some Cleric from UP, who had preached this idea. It was failed attempt of appropriate.
He shared one video on YouTube to substantiate his opinion.
To my mind the Cleric was either in great pain of Identity crisis or he was trying to shed down the burden of his faith by this amalgamation.
First, Lord Shiva is nowhere mentioned as Awatara or Swaroopa. He is Adi Deva, One among Tridevas.
All the religions including Judaism, from which Christianity and Islam have evolved, have evolved from the Great Hinduism. It were the people from this Indian subcontinent that migrated North and West to occupy and stablish great kingdoms of Rome and Greece. The 14 hundred years is very very short period for any human civilization to feel the pride and peace in an aquaired or imposed faith or climate. It becomes too hard to feel the solace in one's own being particularly when he is hurled by the tested, verified and documented informations with time line (history).

Converts , displaced, and those who know what had happened to their fathers can not find peace. Never.
